Rachel Roy & Damon Dash Sign $4 Billion Deal
Who can do the math on how many days of popping tags equates to that many zeros? According to Forbes, the Jones Apparel Group scooped up a venture to market & license the Rachel Roy fashion brand:
Under the terms of the agreement, Jones owns 50% of the joint venture interest. The remaining interest is owned by the two founders, Rachel Roy and Damon Dash, as well as TSM Capital which acquired a minority stake in the business last November.
Jones said it will assume operations of the existing designer collection business under license with the new joint venture.
This is a good look for Dame.
eskay’s edit: The joint venture is allegedly worth $4 billion. Obviously, nobody is pocketing anywhere near that amount.

the deal they signed is worth 4 Billion… this Jones company will be doing the marketing and licensing for the Rachel Roy clothing brand, and will take 50% from the Rachel Roy clothing brand, which belongs to Rachel, Dame and the TSM that bought a piece of the brand

In all reality its Rachel Roy receiving the Deal…..Her fashion company is flourishing…..Dame Dash is just a helping hand and a Co-signer….Plus the Jones group owns 50 percent of the venture and the other 50 cent are split between Roy, dame and Tsm…
