I really want to cosign that. With all my heart beause I love Mos Def
Greatest Rap Album ever…
for me…tie between Supreme Clientele and Reasonable Doubt
*ducks*
——————
I gotta see your face now. I wouldn’t give a damn if you look like Wendy Williams, if you can get down on some Wu, we can roll but…Supreme has too many skits, its throws off the flow of the album like Fishscale. It’s still the best Wu release but BoBS is damn near untouchable (besides Blueprint). And Reasonable Doubt drags off around “Coming of Age” and “Cashmere Thoughts”
1. BoBS & The Blueprint
3. Midnight Marauders
4. Supreme Clientele
5. Aquemini

2. Treading Water – Stylah (heard snippets and a few tracks and is the greatest UK album EVER already boi)
3. Lost Tapes – Nas
4. The New Danger – Mos Def
5. Power Of The Dollar – 50 Cent (dont hate, flow was killa, metaphors were damn and production was near perfect)

Don’t get me wrong The New Danger is a good album but it’s not the Mos who’s music I fell in love with. He was organic and calm on BoBS, then he starts yelling about how much he hates white people and a rock band. It seems like he’s a whole different person since. He need to get back to that organic sound and calm the fuck down on this new LP

Good thing this headache is keeping me in the crib
I like your list too
I actually cosign fully actually
By Amerikka’s you mean “Amerikka’s Nightmare” right?
Mobb Deep is my guilty pleasure…if you know what I mean ;)
I hear Iceberg Slimm on what he’ s saying about New Danger. It had some classic moments but the album is way too disjointed for classic status.. To put it in the top 5 is a little out of hand.
No shots fired but I feel like alot of Nahright heads try to be too controversial with their top 5s. Niggaz make me feel like Im crazy for liking:
1) Illmatic
2) Ready to Die
3) The Chronic
4) Midnight marauders
5) The Blueprint
Black on Both sides and Amerikkkas most wanted fall into that next set of almosts.

Am I the only one that thinks Snoop’s becoming a coon?
^^^ becoming? you need a late pass, Snoop sold out a long time ago. Its ok tho, I never held Snoopy to high standards, his swag carried him. Also hes got the highest white mainstream pass right next to Jay, Cliff is happy in his space.
I just saw your girl perform in Flatbush last summer. She looked and sounded terrible, plus she came late. We ended up burning a few Ls and leaving halfway through
