yeah u can run em without an amp there gonna be underpowered but thats where ur gonna get bass from cuz the 5 1/4’s wont be able to handle bass well..i checked on crutchfield and ur rear deck speakers are stock 4’s so u probably cant fit the 6×9s so u might wanna look at the 6 inch alpine r’s for the back so u can get some bass or one of the more expensive sets of pioneers

thats why he needs the r types. those pioneers have horrible bass response. the R’s will give him a better sound all around. underpowering only counts if its subs.
lo k if ur rear deck is 6.5 u can probably fit the 6×8s..u might have to drill them into the deck tho cuz the stock screws wont fit ..otherwise just look for speakers that are around 25 to 30 watts rms that fit the

my only concern about having to drill or put something in that can’t be covered by the stock grills is coming to my car one day to find shit missing… I just built this car up (it was free) since my Integra got jacked back in January (stripped the whole shit, I was so mad) so I’m trying to keep it low key for a minute…
i got the mrp-m1000 alpine amp..10s>12’s if u want ridiculous bass response and ur listening to something like rock or jazz..but for hitting low hz ranges and getting high dbs 12s>>>10s
my only concern about having to drill or put something in that can’t be covered by the stock grills
