[...] Yesterday I posted all the artists (that I knew of) that jumped on the Lil Wayne “A Milli” beat produced by Atlanta Based producer Bangladesh. Here’s what he had to say about getting the track to Lil Wayne. Evidently he expected Lil Wayne to come a little harder on the record but it popped anyway and now it’s the hottest beat out this summer. This girl I produced for, Shanell, got it to him. But I never went to the lab with him. If I had my way, I would like it more. But I wasn’t around, so what he felt, he put on there. I just thought he would make more of a song out of it, honestly. He’s just rapping. If it was going on the mixtape, it’s cool, but not on no album or single. It’s saying, “A milli.” He needs to pop about being a millionaire. He switched it up and tried to make it “ill.” If that was somebody else, it wouldn’t be on the radio. They just f*ck with Wayne regardless. That right there makes me like that sh*t, because it’s against the grain and it’s working. That sh*t’s no format. A n*gg* went in, freestyled, and that sh*t’s all over the radio. I picked the Celtics in 6 to win, but I don’t like how they lost this game.

@ hambone - I think this is the Nas he has been trying to be his whole career he is just figuring it all out now, no more of the just cause you don’t understand it don’t mean that he is nice shit, not to go off on another Lost tangent but it is similar to the Lost writers, they always knew how they wanted the story to go but in seasons 2 and 3 they weren’t how how long they would have and the best way to go about it now that they have built the foundation and have an end date in mind they can use what they have laid down and get straight to the point no bullshitting, and while nas still has all the time he wants he is more focused and direct and getting his point across clearer ….

I can relate to nas that way cause i like to think I’m a fairly smart guy and sometimes i’ll think of something thats damn nigh genius but I can’t figure out away to get the genius of the idea to translate to everyone,sometimes I just can’t explain so it makes sense to others who aren’t already on the same wavelength and I think thats what Nas has now learned to do
