In no way, shape, or form do I think America is the world. That is just a primary example of how the system hasn’t changed. I also used England as an example, but that's not the point.

I can be open minded and see what you’re “trying” to say; but I do not agree with how you’re trying to say it.

We can agree to disagree.

Aight Peace. . .

My point is; that’s not really going to happen in this country any time soon.

^^^

My point is; America is not the World. The World changes all the time. Whether how big or small. Worlds end.

A world where Rasta's wernt accepted (not even in Jamaica) ended when Robert Nesta Marley became the greatest artist ever.

You cant honesly say a your ancestor didnt think that their world was ended when they were kidnapped & forced into bondage...They was living in the same world that they was at home??

I dont think so...Maybe you do, but I dont.

But if you dont see it, you dont see it. We both have our opinions. I agree to disagree

PLEASE do not use WE & US because ain’t none of us were there. WE weren’t hit with water horses. WE weren’t getting attack by dogs. Our ANCESTORS were … We will never know what its like to be Black in the 60s, so lets stop acting like all their ill are ours because they’re not …

—————–

… ANCESTORS ??? … how old are YOU ?? … maybe some have, and some havent seen it … but nonetheless, we still suffer the daily, lingering effects of that treatment … the lynchings have become corporate, political, and spiritual … c’mon sister … dont act like we done overcame …
^^^^

And I'm not saying that we have. I'm not that naive Land. All I'm saying is that we get into conversations about the brutality in this country, I PERSONALLY cannot sit up here and say that I've experience the brutality that my father went through, that my grandmother went through. They always say to me "You have NO idea what we went through" Why lay claim to discrimination that I have never experienced as a Black woman in this country?

Yes, racism still exists. Yes, inequality still exists. Yes, the slavery mentality still exists. We all know this. It just bothers me to see people, younger people like myself, claim to experience the injustices that our forefathers fought tirelessly for us to NOT have to experience today.

Within anthropological circles, it’s changed to B.C.E. (before common era) and C.E. (common era), the more accepted and common use.

You acting like the world didn’t change when Einstein learned what happens when you split atoms.

^
Not every where true.

I'm acting like Einstein shared those discoveries with governments that still exist (are in power) today. The same people that owned my great grandparents are still in power today. The monarchy in England is still in power today. Subtle changes same system.

Yes there have been subtle changes but the power hasn't changed.

When the power changes then we can say a "world" has ended.

My point is; that's not really going to happen in this country any time soon.

That's all I'm sayin'.

All windows down, super small wife beater only on, pants saggin to capacity, I use the remote start to keep the whip runnin so I can see listen to bis from inside the gas station. I pay for my everfresh peach plum pear fruit beverage and walk out the gas station to see non other than The sheriffs posted up outside. keep in mind my sounds are bone shattering. Its a million people at the gas station and they all know it my whip. I walk right pass the alphabet boys as they lookin at me bout wanting to say somethin. Me being the boss I am, I hop in the whip turn the radio and bass up 3 notches and bend out of the gas station going -1 miles an hour.

LF: So I pull up to the gas station in the hood bangin that new ‘bis song C of tranquility.

Mad dudes think the Y is And 1 or some shit.

>>Agreed. That damaged the game for a minute. i remember the first time I saw a dude roll on the floor trying to do this "And 1" move where you throw the ball over your shoulder or some shit. Back down court on offense, my squad already knew what to do, multiple screens until dude is guarding me.(pause) Hit em' with the "tim hardaway crossover" and hit a fall away jumper.
