joe you stay on that “i’m better than ______” shit but where are your singles, where is your mixtape, where is your album, where are your youtube videos where you’re slaying cats in battles off GP, where are your trailers, where is it? people want to see that before they validate what you’re saying. otherwise it’s meaningless

^ i was asking about that yesterday.. whose at fault for artists on labels where they just dont really fit, the artist or the label?

yeah but every label is trying to branch out, the roc signed twista and people were like wha? sometimes labels like to experiment and see if they can get a fan base in other markets for a good artist, but it’s damn hard to market straight up battle rappers since there are like 2 million of them and all of them have pretty good punchlines

^Currently working on them, but seriously, why should’t I feel like that? Why shouldn’t I feel like i’m great? This is my craft, my soul, my life i’m giving, why would I shoot for 2nd? No harm intended but it’s indeed survival of……..
>>>where is your mixtape,
^Working on it, would you give it a a listen when I drop it?
>where is your album,
^Already complete, just needs to be mastered, etc
>>>where are your youtube videos where you’re slaying cats in battles off GP,
^I don’t battle, I just bleed my soul, hopefully the public gives it a honest listen

^Eh, i’m working on it, what do you think of my music?

I don’t know if anyone’s “at fault”. Both sides knew their differences on the surface going in and thought that they connected on the roots of him being a rapper and them a label. I think that those differences couldn’t have been overcome.

Chea:
The Roc never signed Twista. He was an unofficial artist. Atlantic was not trying to release Twista whatsoever. Dame wanted him so bad though that he laced Twista with a chain, thinking he’ll eventually be able to get Atlantic to let go to Twista.

This video is ill. Good drum beat keeps people dancing. The video isn’t predictable. There’s no blunts, champaign, mercedes benz, ladies bullshit goin’ on. I mean that’s cool and all, but if you put out a video with that as your sole content and the music isn’t innovative, then you have a video that you can expect to be ignored. This video is ILL!!!!
