i dunno if u can really say ye and wasa ’started’ the hipster scene… I was listen to that DJ Jaguar 45-min hiphop retrospective mix and i had an epiphany. Rapping about trifling shit (guns,shine,rims)is a relatively recent trend in hiphop. The subject matter of hipsters is not exactly new… as for fashion I think they owe a lot to emo metros.not to call hipsters gay or nuthin.

i retract all my previous statements about charli being fine.
i blame it on the fact that the plantation blocks most videos.
i hear all that. no need to misconstrue my thoughts. i dont have the time to type out my whole outlook on this matter, but rest assured we on the same page of the same chapter.
lupe and kanye are def rappin about shit. and after lupe’s version of sierra leone its obv who’s doing better at it.
But, i was getting at the glorification of violence, drugs and material things that the hipsters are straying from. Thats real hiphop and not a trend. There’s a thin line, tho.
anyway, i know u know the math and the history.
If you or any of the regs want love on NR, ya’ll really gotta get my attention. If you think you’re nicer than Mickey or Donny Goines or whoever, and you’re wondering why your shit ain’t getting posted, maybe you need to look at how these other niggas is grinding. most of these unsigned niggas was sending me shit for months before I showed them any love.
you know how much shit I get from up and comers everyday? so I should post ya’ll niggas shit why? its your job to leave me no choice but to put your shit up. if that means go pay for promotional photos, shooting Youtube videos, or dropping a new track every day for a month, then that’s what you gotta do. but all this, yo, I come here all the time so can you post my shit ain’t flying.

I got a homie that has ceritified hits. dude is extra nice. he worked wit dilla, Fat Pat, black milk ect. but he never lets nobody hear his own stuff. his beats are certified. yall new york ninjas would love it. I just cant get him to let nobody hear nothin…
It wouldn’t hurt to put rigz, joe88, or digital scales on some stray shots shit…..I mean, you’re taking this way too serious fam….Mickey factz is only known through some internet shit, so its not like this cat is going to blow up…..The streets don’t have his back…..just the hipster cats do……..
