I see it like this, Wayne built up major hype in the blog world with the Dedication series and Da Drought 3. Outside the internet a lot of his attention came from basic guest features and people who were more into the artist featuring him started to take notice. Eventually his shit made it into the strip clubs and he started to build up some serious hype for Tha Carter III. Some people who don’t know Wayne in anyway (i.e. The Empire) started to compile mixtapes of his material to make some money. He never charged for Da Drought 3, and even said you’re stupid if you paid for it, so I think he’s mad that people are making money off his material when he didn’t even try to. I don’t think the mixtapes he didn’t sanctioned are really getting him any hype because they all have previously released material and bothersome tags that many people won’t put up with. Wayne has a right to be mad at people for using his material to make a buck because that’s just a scuzzy move. However, his hype has easily doubled since the release of Lollipop so I think in a month we will see this entire controversy as a moot point.

I agree, being high is no excuse. However, I think he deserves some credit for singling out who is actually pissed at. His initial reaction was disgusting and should of been some sort of a wakeup call to himself to realize just how out of it he has become (due to a rising ego, drugs, whatever else). I don’t really think the empire did much to keep his hype up though, he doesn’t really owe them a thing.

rappers can use the “hit or miss” approach in mixtapes.
They can go out on a limb and be very creative and not be afraid of soundscan numbers. Which is why mixtapes are the ish.

Once you click on that folder you should see all the songs in mp3 form you can either add the songs one by one by right clicking each song and open with itunes or just dropping the whole folder into itunes. What do you expect? Kimbo obviously doesn’t have any endurance so he was tired by the second round, everyone already knows thats his weak point. He’s a knockout artist, he deserves praise for his boxing but doesn’t have any ground game. However he’s a new fighter and he only been training professionally for a short time. he working on his ground game and hopefully he works on that stamina so he doesn’t get sluggish in the second round of every fight.
Still Thompson was done, he was already dazed from those punches and would have gone down with like another 2 shots. I wish the ref would have let kimbo get one more shot in for the knockout instead of ending the match like that.
