Mazzi just came out of the woodwork (I know he hosts and WRC NY and some other smalltime shits) and dissed The Cool Kids and Jay Electronica.
He can try and act like he’s just some kind of superman saving all of hip-hop culture (then why not also call out all the other shitty rappers who bank on fads? Drrty south, yall, get krunk with it Mazzi!)–but he’s really just trying to put his own name on the map, no different than Mic Terror. But at least Terror admits it and quashes an real life beef instrad of trying to perpetuate things and make death threats like Maz (and BTW–that’s what’s killing hip-hop–literally–RIP Biggie and Pac).
Also, IMO, Terror has better rhythm and rhyme structure than Maz, and his punches are more clever. Teror reminds me more of some the last generation of real hip-hoppers (ala, Del, Souls of Mischief, etc)–which is ironic, since Maz is (supposedly) trying to save true hip-hop. Cutting off the nose to spite the face?

PS. Just in case it sounded like I was only including west coast cats in saying the previous generation of hip-hoppers that Terror reminds me of, include also some old Del La and Tribe. Obviously Terror doesn’t sound exactly like any of these dudes, just his structure and cadence kinda reminds me of ‘em.
