@ Rey, yea, mid-era Puff definetly got some “ideas” from Toke and Pone. and Harlem World has aged well. Because the general caliber of lyricism in hiphop has dropped tremendously, it arguably sounds better than it did when it dropped.

stillmatic > any mega album
^Negative
The Realness & still matic came out around the same time, so I evenly judge both of those albums then
stillmatic = Borderline classic
The Realness = Classic
Stillmatic loses it’s classic stamp off the strength of “Braveheart party” wow that song sucked balls, & it had Mary J on there, lol. True fact, nas (or his people) never paid mary for the song, so they took the song off the albums later release, Nas is a snake, word to every QB ninja that nas took money from (c) Cormega never getting paid for his spots on the bridge album

*Daps Rey G7 and anyone else i missed*
Whats good Rey??? Life is good across the pound, out tonight for a joint 21st for two bitches i know, both hairdressers, can you smell the pussy!!!
Again i gotta disagree with The True Meaning > The realness
The beats and rhymes on the realness are just perfect and the album flows like the Nile!!!!

^both classics imo. mega gets fire beats, but sometimes his lyrics, flow…etc come off as average to me. he can’t carry a weak beat like nas can….lol.

^I understand your arguement, but the true meaning shows his growth as a artist, the beats on the realness was better, but the topics on the true…… was iller, & more depth than your average hood tail (even tho mega does those stories the best, him & styles) songs like “love in, love out” was deep & showed the other side of the Mega vs Nass beef, unlike on the real….. where it just shows his anger towards the lil homie. Or the love song he wrote to a bitch that had a man already, that was hot, the man on the mic track is crazy, truthfully it really depends on how your feeling that day when your choosing which is better, cause I bumped the real….. like 2 weeks ago & sided with the real > true meaning

True. But the Realness doesnt have ANY weak beats. If fact, in terms of the content and atmoshere the music produces, I’d say that the Realness is more of a true sequel to Illmatic than Stillmatic was. Stillmatic was real dope tho. 4.5 mics.

*Currently adding lil wayne “Da Drought” on Ipod*.
Most people prolly never heard the 1st one, & it’s my favorite one. This came out around the time the first carter (also my favorite of the series) was about to drop. On most songs on da drought, you can hear him scream “da drought” over where he said “the carter” so I guess this was suppose to be the carter 1, eh, it’s still hot. I got atleast 3 songs from the carter on here also where he’s screaming “da drought” in the backround

i’m going with the Realness > True Meaning
good argument though Joe
