Damn jus checked back 4 new thread and come in to this news… Camu and the Megahertz are from my hometown Columbus. As RIGZ said he wasn’t well known outside of underground circles but the Weathermen did have a nice run when Def Jux first started w/ Cage, El-P, Cann Ox, Mr. Lif (not sure maybe RIGZ can confirm), and Copywrite and Camu from the MHz. Copy was more recognizable because he’s dope as well and happens to be white, he was signed to Rawkus for a hot sec, and it was rumored that a deal wit the Roc fell thru. RJD2 who ya’ll might know of was the producer for all the early MHz stuff… He had a couple LPs on Def Jux before leaving to do stuff w/ Aceyalone, and then “retiring” from hip hop producing… Anyways this is fucked up, dude was nice, actually met him in high school…
