Jim Jones has to be one of the most wackest rappers out period the end. But there are those people out there who would let their eyes fool them into believing that with this documentary he is one of the best. SORRY, he is straight TRASH. Dont see hime doing any numbers on Sony/Columbia.
Wait……………He went out to Cali in that documentary, but wasn’t wearing any red, wasn’t he a blood at some point in time. Awww…….fuck it their all pretend ass niggas anyway.
Jim Jones has personality, regardless whether he can rap or not…..I mean when he first started off he was trash, cause he tried to rap like new york battle niggas…..But when he slowed his flow down, and became a lil more artistic with his flow and rhymes he actually got better at making songs……
emotionless was a hot track though and jim jones has been improving on the mixtapes……He’s a decent song maker now….thats totally different from a rhyme spitter, like santanna and hell rell.
with that said, Jim is able to move units cause of his swag and his charisma…..He won’t move that many but he is one of the few remaining artist from new york to move SOME units….Plus he embraced the whole hip-hop dance song craze thats going on now….so its hard to front of him now….
Plus with all that mumbo jumbo acronym saying he does…..Dude is funny ass dude….to laugh at- not with..

You guys on the Blog dont get it, first, if you were Hip Hop heads as you claim, you would know, Dame has been around them dudes when Cam was doing Children of the Corn, with Ma$e, McGruff (The Crime Dog, Where he at?), and Big L (R.I.P), Ma$e went with Puff, McGruff couldnt leave Uptown, so that is why never went with Puff, Heavy D and Herrell did not let him go and Monifah, they let Biggie go with Puff and Craig Mac, they saw no upside with those two artist, shows you that every executive is not on the pulse of this here thing of ours, either way, Dame was there through all that, found Jay with Clark Kent help and did what he did, he stayed close to Cam and them and no matter what you say about DAME, he is a loyal dude, even now, you know he could talk reckless about Hov but he don’t that shows you something, and he is still making as many moves as anybody else in the game, it just through different channels, from Rachel Roy deals to Pro Keds still getting bread, he brought that back, and they still produce the Rocawear sneaker license.
Jim Jones no matter what you think, spits real, the stuff he talks about on other songs, not much his singles, (he knows how to make a record, every album he put out had a joint on it) but he talks regular street dude music, hustler, wildin, getting drunk, messy with the ladies, he spits what regular dudes do on a weekly basis, that is him, listen to his albums, he regular, and the ladies love him, he is positioning himself to be the next guy, and his business sense is nuts, deals with Koch, (them of 7 dollars a record fame), Warner Bros, as an executive and now Sony with the help of the architects of Jay Z whole dominance and Kanye’s, you have to bet on Jimmy, if you don’t that looks like a loosing bet, but one thing he did mess up on, is he help destroy his brand, Dip Set was positioned to do global dominance, the Bloggers loved them first, the hipsters loved them first, the where supporting them and getting them out to the main stream,(Hipsters are the media) he should kept that brand strong, Byrdgang is like a off shot, like KILLARMY to the Wu, they dope but not like them dudes.
