    ^there are way more original compositions today than there were back in the 90′s. Back then the Dj’s where the producers and were forced to loop and sample due to technology or lack thereof.

    well I never listened to Graduation or The Cool (I’ll get to them eventually)

    but i understand, synths are annoying as hell if not done properly. but they’re not the only instruments that can be used for original compositions.

    thats why I like Bone Thugs N Harmony so much i guess. DJ U-Neek sampled good (Tha Crossroads, Days Of Our Livez, etc) but he was also good at making sick beats from scratch. some of his best joints to me were the original stuff (Thug Luv w/ 2Pac, Mo Murder, East 1999, etc.)

    one time this one kid said he can see music, like different notes appeared in different colors and shapes. He even went as far as drawing them out. BTW, just so the people know just like there are ghost writers there are also phantom producers.

    400 degress
    Gurilla warfare
    chopper city & CC in the ghetto
    the block is hot
    the big tymers albums

    etc

    & all the production on them albums was superb. And that was in the late 90′s it’s been 10+ years & his beats are still fire. So yeah

    i just listened to the retail version of graduation for the first time last week. (i already had all the songs on the ipod from leaks and mixtapes) ..and i heard the cool last weekend too for the first time. i was in no rush to jump on the lupe bandwagon. some people ride his jock a little too hard.
