Ok, so I copped a new phone and decided to get the Windows Mobile 6.0 feature poppin’. I wanted to be able to sync media (pics, music, and video) from the hard drive to the phone and vice versa. Well, come to find that out that WM 6.0 doesn’t properly install well. After some googling, it turns out that many people have trouble with WM 6.0 i.e. failed installtions, mimimal syncing, etc. Well, a few forums suggest 6.1, so I attempted to install it and that didn’t go well either. So I said, fuck it, I’ll just uninstall it. Well, there are two parts that gets put on your hard drive during the installation: Windows Mobile Device Center, and the Windows Mobile Device Center Driver Update. Well, the Device Center alone had no problems with the uninstallation. But the Driver Update would not uninstall. I tried like 4 times in a row and that shit stayed in my program files… laughing at me. It would act like it was performing an uninstallation by having the green indicator bar go from left to right, and then once done, go back down from right to left again. So, I googled again to see what the forum geeks had to say and a few people had the same problem and nobody had a solution. So, I went to Download.com and searched “uninstaller” and Revo Unistaller came up as the top choice, with other 500K downloads and it was just added earlier this month. Out like 49 reviews, only 4 or 5 said they had problems. But I’m assuming they either a.) didn’t know what they were doing, b.) got a more concentrated problem, or c.) wear helmets and drool on windows. It’s mad simple. Installation was a breeze, and once you select Run, the program starts and shows you all of the shit that’s intalled on your hard drive that wasn’t on there originally during purchase. I was frustated all of last night and for like 2 hours his morning before I found this.

So, the point is… if any of yall got Vista (which I don’t is that bad as many people claim), DO NOT FUCK WITH WINDOWS MOBILE. Period.
