People have to understand that money changes NOTHING. It only places emphasis on your strengths and/or weaknesses in character.
For instance… if you was baggin’ shorties before you became rich, money isn’t gonna make you do anything out of the ordinary with women because it’s not new to you. You’ll be fully aware that the new chicks who try to place themselves in your cipher are just scandalous and continue to treat regular chicks the same.
But, if you a ninja that never had no chicks before money, you’ll go out your way to diss as many chicks as possible and only surround yourself with the “baddest†of chicks to compensate for the insecurity of not really baggin’ no buttcheeks prior to your riches. You wouldn’t care if said chicks are dull, boring, self-indulged, etc. You just want somebody around to make you look good and keep your self-esteem (or lack thereof) up. Sound familiar?

I like Jay but he always gets all giddy and boyish and easily excitable around white people and white venues but when you get this dude on Tavis Smiley or put him on Hot 97 or somewhere where it’s a noticeable black ownership of the airwaves or presence in the room and he’s all reserved and shy and measuring his words. It’s nonchalance to a whole other level.

D Bills your very wrong. For instance…how many asshole get no chicks, make it rich and bang out tons of arm candy??? Happens all the time. Most MC’s work hard as hell and after they get money bc they’re not hungry, the music changes.
Money changes everyone bc it disconnects peoples dependancy on the environment around them. If you poor and you don’t like you’re environment you learn to live among it, if you have $ you can simply move.
Jay’s music sounds bland bc he’s gotten bland (naturally)….he’s pushin 40, He’s been gettin his White-Man on for so long. Sad thing is, he abandoned the ROC-A-FELLA legacy which could have kept the game in line…breeding a new crop of good mc’s….. He chose to give up the position the ROC had at Universal Music Group/ Def Jam to join the conglomerate.
