   I respect your opinion billz but wouldnt you agree on the fact that a classic has to be clicking on all cylinders atleast? I mean if you said it was a Prodigy classic then i’d might agree but a Classic? On any classic IMO the lyrics have to be above bar and maybe sometimes sub par but his lack luster lyrics disqualified his Lp from being classic, but dont forget thats just me…

   ^I definitely overstand you and can agree that it’s fair to call it a Prodigy/Mobb Deep classic, rather than a classic overall. However, I still disagree with the lyrics being lackluster. I think they meshed well with the theme of the album. Perhaps over some diff. beats I might say otherwise, be he and Alc already picked a direction of where they were tryin’ to go with the album. Honestly, after I saw the online vid for Mac 10 Handles (and for real, I think he was the first to do the online vid thing consistently, he deserves that light), I knew it was gonna be a problem when it dropped. From your POV, I can overstand how you feel about the lyrics, but my interpretation is based more on the theme/feel of the album. For instance, you could put Styles P and Beans over those beats and I think they would make a good mixtape (because they are lyrically superior to him with similar content). But, knowing what, and how, to say certain ish to make it fit Alc’s vision is what made it work, IMO, of course.
