From what I hear, Nas is tight with Def Jam over the whole album title debacle and he’s still fighting the good fight. Good luck with that Nasir. Stop fucking with those majors and this won’t be an issue.

you still think he’s doing this to push the EN AYE GEE GEE EEH ARE movement. he’s in it for the dough… and LA and Doug usually don’t ask twice… so they’re in on it too. why would an exec make a fool out of himself for a stupid artist? this whole NaS shit is a game, he’s gonna act like white man wants him to do a dance yet he’s chucking and jiving around the internet saying he’s not budging… YAOK fall back little homie
he’s trying to turn this into one of those LET BUDDENS DROP shits… yet these execs already co-signed him, there is no street movement coming Nas… just shut the fuck up and drop your album
Nas has/had no enemies… he’s the one starting shit here, naming his album something unthinkable and the second he gets any kind of reaction it’s the wrong one? fuck outta here

First of all the 2 tracks are straight. Great flow and as much as people complain about the beats, they fit the feel of an album. I said in an earlier post they feel like intros/outros.
One of the things I like about this Nigger album is that at least he’s showing passion about it. Fuck if he’s inchorehent as long as he gives food for thought through some good wordplay.
As far as Def Jam goes, I think they are on his side but they have to answer to Universal. Def Jam has actually done a decent job with him, the build up to HHID was good and credit to LA Reid cause I do think he didnt think it was a big deal. Honestly I even understand where Doug Morris is coming from too. I think there doing this in Nas’ best intrest. I myself wasnt even sure if he needed to call the album Nigger even if the theme of the album is politically charged. But I dont think its gonna be too shocking. I am shocked at how bitch assed some of the media and people are over it. He’s not trying to coon his people out. His intentions might not have been carefull thought, but what he’s doing is now is no different than the politcal and gangsta rappers we grew up on in the 90s.
And a little credit to the Little Homey for sounding more honest and coherent in every interview since that Grammy Red Carpet one.
I feel what hes saying in that interview and I think he just wants to put it out.
NATION YOUR WHACK…YOU KNOW YOU DICK RIDE TO NAS TRACKS ALL DAY. BIG HOMIE IS DOIN HIS THING AND ITS TO THE POINT WHERE YOU COULD SAY ANYTHING AND JUST LOOK LIKE AN INOGRANT FOOL. NAS TOO SMOOTH WITH HIS WORDS AND HE KNOWS WHERE HES AT. SO STOP WITH THE HATERADE AND GO GET YA CAKE UP WHACK ASS BLOGGER.

Yo Genius,
Nas has been on a major for all of his releases. Columbia Records prior to this jank deal with Deaf Jam. He got his own imprint (Ill Will) starting with the Wackstradamus album. Some of you backpackbloggers need to go back to fucking school.
