The Game Source Cover

Wow, and I thought they exhibited balls with their N.E.R.D./Gnarls cover. This should go over nicely at Barnes and Noble’s Wichita branch. That being said, what is wrong with this guy? What is he trying to accomplish with this I-wanna-die routine? He’s lucky he can rap. Marvin and Curtis are going to have a field day with this.

    JAY-Z’S 24-HOUR CONCERT?

How does this work? I heard Jay-Z is going to be doing a 24-hour concert – in one sitting. I am not exactly sure how this works. You might recall in 2006, Jay-Z did that hangar thing where he hit 7 cities in 24 hours – Atlanta, Philadelphia, Washington DC, New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas. This is different. I hear Jay is going to do a show, one shot for 24 hours straight. I would assume he is going to need a few good friends to make this happen and some super loyal fans that don’t sleep much. If everything goes according to plan, by next year 50 Cent will be one of the richest and most powerful men in all of entertainment. 50 Cent is in the midst of putting together one of the most comprehensive entertainment deals ever signed.

According to sources, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson” is on the verge of signing a 10 year deal which will give News Corp far reaching control over the 50 Cent brand. And the deal is also poised to launch the company’s MySpace Records into the big leagues.

At least half of the deal will be in stock. 50 Cent will be one of the largest shareholders of News Corp. when the deal is done. Some of the terms of the proposed deal include:

-50 Cent’s website Thisis50.com, one of the fastest growing websites in the world, will be acquired and run by News Corp

-The multi-platinum 50 Cent and his G-Unit artists will move to a new G-Unit label created under MySpace Records.

-50 Cent and G-Unit music publishing

    -G-Unit book deal

-all of 50′s concert touring would be marketed and sold through a newly created News Corp entity

-50 would get his own production studio to put out film and tv projects.

While nothing has been finalized, the deal is scheduled to go into effect in 2009 , after 50 Cent and G-Unit fulfill their album requirements with Interscope Records.

if this is anywhere near true, good for 50… but POOR News Corp.

    ^

what do you care, you just said they’re a shitty company – which they’re not

people get so emotional about news corp but at the end of the day, they have a very “rapper” mentality about money – they do what makes as much of it as possible

conservative viewpoints make money, so they push it

don’t fool yourself – if pushing liberal viewpoints made money, they’d do it too

they don’t give a shit, they just want that cash

matter of fact, rupert recently had talks with prince al waleed bin talal to do a middle east news station

will it make him money? yes. so he’s doing it

he doesn’t give a flying fuck. it’s not about emotions. if buddhism became the hot shit, fox news would fire o’reilly and hire the dalai lama

it’s funny because as rap fans all we hear about is slimy rappers talk about money but when a slimy cat like rupert talks money and then someone like fif wants to get slimy with him, people get emotional

get over yourselves, this is something called capitalism – all these people are just maximizing their wealth (and doing a good job of it)

p.s. cici co-sig, i think the WSJ is a piece of shit publication. but again, if they felt they could make more money pushing liberal views, they’d fire their editorial whole staff and just hire al franken. it’s just dollars and cents

    ^ this is true

chea you need to calm the FUCK down. I’ve never even watched Fox News so I’m not speaking on News Corp. over Bill O’Reilly. I’m talking about how they make business moves, how they handle acquisitions, and how they’re the butt of the corporate world’s jokes. smh… you think I give a shit if Fif makes a penny or not? i’m not a full time hater, but I have had legal troubles with News Corp. and I think to say that people calling them satanists or racists is the least of their problems.

plus… they both lose for aligning themselves with eachother. that is a fact

just like some fool who says jay-z not relevant, dumb kids.this is way more than rap its a business and more niggas need to learn, no one buys music anymore.these dudes with lables aint even eating,
