And that is what so sad about this whole situation. Everybody on here is analyzing what he said and what he did with different perspectives, which is a very positive thing.

Wright is speaking the truth on many things and the truth needs to be heard. But, its HOW he did it that bothers me. The Wright story surfaced about 1 1/2 months ago. Why come out now and speak your mind?

I understand his cadence and delivery at the NAACP conference, but at the National Press Club? His interview on PBS was so insightful and strong … people need to see that.

Wright’s message gets lost in the spectacle he put on at the National Press Club. Frankly, that shit was embarrassing. Why would anyone pay attention to what he has to say when he’s up there waving his arms like wayward branches in the wind?

I’m assuming they live quite good right.. I mean a lot of these European countries do offer absolutely free health care benefits that are vastly above what we have here in the US. I know the UK does have the free health care and other services because I’ve heard about it first hand.

As far as your argument goes I understand now. You should have worded it as “niggas that abuse the welfare system” instead of lumping every nigga into one category. I agree on that though, when people are collecting food stamps even though they make a decent amount and have access to better jobs or are spending welfare checks on clothes/shoes while not helping their kids, those are the people that fall into the category I assume you were talking about. The ones who are in the position to earn more but would rather live under the welfare system .

As far as poor living class goes I mean I guess America does have it good compared to places like China and most countries in Africa. Europe seems to be on top when it comes to taking care of their poor.
