Wow! thats crazy 79 comments and nobody knows shit about this video. Its based on the France Riots of 2005 when for numerous reasons including discrimination, unemployment, and racial profiling black and arab youth(not whiteboys) started burnin shit and tearing France up for 3 weeks to gain a voice and get heard. You tried to put it “in context” to tell me WHY i should enjoy this video.

My point way the VAST majority of the people dickriding this video have not see the no named belgian film of which you speak.

They are because OMGZ ITS JUSITCE AND JUSTICE AS SOOOO C00L!

The fact is this video is boring after the first minute. It is, essentially, a bunch of black kids (with some white ones thrown in the mix as to not look racial) in justice jackets, terrorizing people and breaking shit pointlessly.

In context or out of context, it is boring.

And if this was a video from a mainstream hiphop artist. In context or out of context, all you fags would be saying it’s making black ppl look bad and is a bad influence on the kids.

I’m French, and hell yeah it was shot in France, You can recognize Montmartre and some places in Paris. I don’t really like justice, but this video was shot by a member of the KOURTRAJME production, a big team of young great directors.
Actually, they are related to Matthieu Kassovitz, the man who directed “La Haine” (excellent movie in black and white, watch it !!).

Dude. You’re missing the entire point of the video. It’s an homage to the French cult classic Man Bites Dog. It’s not about black kids fucking shit up. It’s about the media’s fascination with violence, and not just regular violence but “real” violence. The documentarians in Man Bites Dog are obsessed with capturing “real” violence just like the documentarians in this video.

Besides, Justice and Romain Gavras (the director and son of Costa Gavras) are french.
It’s definitively in Paris!
