Another reason a lot of people seem to hate 50 is that he simply can’t rap for shit now and his songs have been garbage and he is still talking a lot of shit. Talented artists get a pass the majority of times. They can through in a some fabrication stories in their raps or exagerrate here and there but because they can actually rap so good fans and listeners tend to let it slide.
With 50 he’s already so garbage right now everything he says comes under heavy scrutiny even for being slightly arrogant.

As someone that listened to GRODT extensively and has mentioned Banks being the best out of G-unit numerous times how can I hate 50 as a person or G-unit? If I did then I would have disliked 50 during GRODT. The fact is his music is mostly garbage these days and the majority of the general public agrees with this and thats the reason I pointed it out. Not to mention that Banks who use to be one of my favorites has kind of fell off, while 50 is wasting marketing dollars instead of letting his more talented G-unit member focus on a solo project.

Yes it’s a minority worldwide. You know why? Because it’s a smaller portion of the total number of rap fans worldwide. I would go as far to call it a minority of 50′s fanbase. I mean this guy sold anywhere between 5-10 million twice internationally.
Now consider the fact this was a downloadable mixtape which was offered for free. Which would be even more reason for more 50 fans to download it. However you said 2 mill worldwide… Including the US. You can’t argue that 50′s fanbase hasn’t dwindled even a small bit. If this mixtape wasn’t free it wouldn’t have caught most peoples attention, smart marketing, but even while giving it away world wide his total numbers aren’t that special.

No, not the internet. I can say I’ve met/known a lot of people who don’t like 50 cents music anywhere as much as when GRODT came out. Matter of fact 50′s biggest marketing tool is the internet? right.. So he gets a lot of recognition on the net,if he didn’t why would he release exclusive videos on line??? He isn’t stupid, a good portion of 50′s fanbase does use the internet, so how is it circular logic to say comments on the net do mirror a lot of msuic listeners view about 50 music right now? so it’s safe to say album reviews/commenters etc do indicate that his fanbase dwindled because of his music getting worse.
