^nas is a genius but he sloppy with it. his career has been disappointing and i only wish that he was more focus and be a more complete master of ceremony. it is why i’ve always been partial to jay because say what you will jay has done the utmost with his talents. all that said, i am grateful to nas for what he has accomplished and given to hiphop- just wish he took it to the level that illmatic suggested he would.

I’m kinda split on this one. On the one hand, it’s kinda like who the fuck is NYOIL to question Gnoz. Just because homey made some sensational tracks that grabbed people’s attention doesn’t make him the fucking authority on these topics. Wooooooooooow. NYOil sounds like he has something against Nas. I donâ€™t care if he’s ever been a fan or not. Thereâ€™s no way you can talk down on Nas’s catalog. Yes, Illmatic is the peak of his achievements but there are plenty of other songs/records he’s done that hold the same amount of weight. This dude is stepping out of line. He had some valid points but overall thereâ€™s a jealous undertone to everything that he’s saying. Questioning Nas’s most recent song is fine but to discredit everything else that he has done is just plain ignorant.
