I can’t front on Kanye’s talent, but dude don’t move me. Don’t get it twisted, I got his shit but i have it so I can have an intelligent discussion about his music. His BEST tracks is “You Don’t Know My Name”, “Southern Hospitality” and Gold Digger” for me. His production values are impeccable but I can’t relate to his lyrics. I can’t hate because his Hip-Hop dreams mirrors all of our Hip-Hop dreams and he made it happen… I don’t “hate” every Hip-Hop cat I can’t relate to. Get that Roots jawn!!!

hiphop is based and rooted by people having ‘favorites’.. i don’t know why people deny that shit..it’s in hiphop nature to have favorites…
back in day, you used of have djs have neighborhood battles, and everybody rocked wit they hood and had their own favs… it’s the way it is..

yeah Roots is dope… they make quality music. “got me” is probaby in my top 10..and probably one of the best hiphop songs EVER…
