Hipster rap Has produced some tight beats though. It’s the combining of regional styles to format a beat. I hear a lot of chopped up street beats, that you can dance to and still ice grill.

Remember half of these rap niggas had no idea what the fuck a business was, weren’t business minded, and they had limited knowledge and didn’t know shit, if college educated business men can fail when trying to build a business what can you expect from these dudes.
They basically all follow the same blueprint. Create a label/make a clothing line/and get endorsements. I believe nas didn’t have no one in his ear to like educate him on how to capitalize on his success back then and start a business.
I also don’t believe for a second that Dame Dash wasn’t in Jay z’s ear telling him how to start a business and giving him ideas early in his career.
The only dude right now that I can say used his own intelligence to create a business on his own was 50 cent, even though he talks a lot of shit i’ll admit that he didn’t have no dame dash on behind him or anyone. 50 must have always been business minded.
