Although coaching in New York appeals to Jackson, the Bulls have a better roster than the Knicks and could be a playoff team next season. Walsh already is talking about a three-year plan that would put the Knicks in position to get under the salary cap in the summer of 2010, when LeBron James and Chris Paul become free agents.
