    Well Ty I havent heard that Monsta Track, but let me check it out. Lyrically it can be subpar but what are we comparing it too? because a lyrical down south dude has a different sound,culture,mind frame, plight than a Lyrical North dude. I am not able to really differentiate between the two because I listen to the music always with an open mind and not try to compare it to anything else. it hard and I may be hypocrytical but I dont understand how I can compare Ice Cube with Jay-Z ….very different artists, who come from a different place but its not really that different in the grand scheme of things. Most Rap Artists went through the same things growing up, albeit they grew up in South Central LA or the Bronx or Huntsville. All Ghettos have the same issues but its rapped about with the prespective of where you’re coming from with dialect/slang/accent of where you’re from. Thats why its hard for you being from NJ or most people for that matter, to understand a rapper with a heavy accent from the SOuth. I myself am able to decipher the difference thus then appreciating alot more artists and their music. I am not saying I dont have my biases but it helps to be open minded and I if the beat goes hard I will give them a little more benefit of the doubt. *sings* INSIDE PEANUT BUTTER OUTSIDE JELLYYYYYY

    GTFOH with that shit, you went off on a tangent that has nothing to do with why I was hating on the song or what I said, I agree sometimes if the beat is right and the flow is on point it don’t matter about the lyrics ( like some lil wayne shit I admit sounds real good because his flow is crazy and he normally has a real good ear for beats, thats not my problem with the weasel, my problem is when he is considered among the best rapper and lyricist but I don’t wanna go off on a tangent so I’ll stop on that )

    I couldn’t even bother paying attention to the lyrics because the flow was awful thats it, point blank period AWFUL, that doesn’t matter where I’m from don’t tell me I have trouble understanding the music or don’t fuck with the music cause I’m from jersey I lived in Texas ( Houston ) for 7 years and I lived in oakland for 3 1/2 years yeah maybe I was mad young but still I lived there

    and I listen to music with an open mind too thats why i like rappers from all over the country and I like other music as well but if it doesn’t sound good I can’t fuck with it, there can be no excuse to be made for bad sounding music, I listened to this song with an open mind until the song closed my mind for me

    I can understand if the lyrics don’t say shit or make sense but the shit has to be catchy that song is not catchy and like I said you can not make any excuse for music sounding bad
