word up, even with the fall off. nothing about Buck stands out to me in anyway.

Hell yeah, and I have this tape from 92 or 93 from a group from Texas called Street Military “Just Dont Give a Damnâ€â€¦that shit is HARD. And what about that teenage kid that used to be down with Rap A Lot and Scarface…I forget his name “2Low†maybe????!?!? He came out in the early nineties and his shit was tight too…back when gangster rap was real, no JT or Fergie features.

Yeah Buck has never moved me whatsoever, as soon as he starts flowing I wait for the hook. And I know I’ll be labeled a hater but the last thing I’ve felt (none) from the Unit was “I Smell Pussy”…and that was light years ago.

Top 20 at least.
Also, Mega has written some of the best rhymes ever by someone not considered a GOAT. I was listening the Realness yesterday, and with the exception of one track, each verse is fuckin superb. Now, the same can’t always be said about the delivery, but if you can dig how Mega spits, I don’t see how you can’t see how incredible that album is.

I agree with that statement (War Report is just as good as ANY other Queensbridge album, including Illmatic and Hell on Earth) but there’s always gotta be an asterick when saying it because we all know Tradgedy wrote that shit…no coincidence that NORE got wack when he and Trag fell out.

Come on!!!!
I remember hearing Banks verse on GRODT and thinking, “shit, this kid can write verses designed to fit in an album format just as well as mixtapes” turned out not to be true, but Banks looked like a fucking problem before his solo (or rather “On Fire”) dropped. Buck never looked like a problem, just a southern MC that would never be as good as TI or Wayne and could make pretty good albums. He’s been overrated for the past two years.
