.. co-sign cold turkey is the only way to go, but you also have to really want to quit, I smoked 2, 2 1/2 packs of straight newports a day for like 7 years woke up in the morning smoked my last cigarette and haven’t had one since, I had enough and wasn’t gonna deal with it anymore, I was a mess for a week or so, I would get the shakes and couldn’t speak without stuttering but after those first couple weeks I had never been so proud of myself and couldn’t understand why I ever started smoking….. a lot of other people I know made bets with people and did things of that nature to give them extra motivation but you still need to go cold turkey and just deal with the first week or 2 of hell ….

Big Homie,

this dude at my office went to the doctor to get nicotine pills. dude was a super chain smoker. I went to Micky D’s with him one time and he blazed like 8 squares on a 15 minute trip. His teeth looked like someone colored them withh brown crayons. He started takin the pills that only give you the nicotine. When he would try ot smoke he would get nausiated. So he quit in like a month. Its been like 4 or 5 months now. Turns out dude was in his early 30’s s but he smoked so many squares over the years he was looking like he was 60. Its amazing watching him get younger. nhjic .
