The only person I’ve really heard from Mud Fam that I’m feeling recently is Skinnyman
^ I ain’t heard nothing from Skinnyman since that Council Estate of Mind joint, but the track “Fuck The Hook” stays in rotation to this day.

re: the return of tone n poke… this outta be interesting, as long as they stayed with the times. trackmasters def had a sound that was distinctly lates 90s.. prolly becuase they were one of the chief architect’s composing the music of that period.. but nonetheless.. hopefully theyll come back hard.

^ Mirage was right before I got into clubbin life. It all started at the Ritz and Live for me. DC live was the spot though and then they changed it to VIP. Now it is a bunch of condos. RIP lol

Yeah, pretty much, but that’s a risk you gotta take. I mean, if you are seriously in a position where your beats are being heard by industry heads that are likely going purchase them, then, yeah, wait for a check. But if your in your room making hot beats no one but your friends hear and you luck out (this is obvioulsy relative since we’re talking about Jim Jones) and Jim wants beats for free, I dont even see where you have a choice. And you can always be grimy and sell the beat even if someone has rapped on it. Sheeeit…they aint pay for right?
