Yeah Billz? Lemme ask you this. How do you know what Jay does with his money? Are you privy to his finances? Do you know how much he gives to charitable causes each year? Of course you don’t, so how can you speak on any of that?
As for the X-Mas gifts , turkeys etc, you’re right, it be much better if he didn’t do any of that shit. The trip to Africa? did it bring him publicity, sure, I don’t think anybody said it didn’t. But it also brought awareness to an important issue.
As for anybody from Jay’s past, don’t talk to me about niggas in the hood turning on people. you and I both know this is a common everyday occurrence with anybody who becomes successful.
Furthermore, do you know the intricate details of Jay’s relationship with DeHaven? with Jaz-O? With Klein? Do you know Jay’s side of any of those stories? Cuz personally, I don’t like to make judgments about relationships that I know nothing about, but thats just me.
All I know is that ya’ll niggas as fans and spectators have no concrete reason for the hatred ya’ll are projecting at that man other than the amount of paper he’s making.
so what does that say about ya’ll?

^Keyword is “fan”. Not a relative, friend, etc. Therefore, if I’m not impressed with what’s goin’ on then I have just as much right to alter how I feel based on the information given. I’m still a fan of his music (when he not being lazy), but I’m damn sure not gonna let him slide just because of his status. He’s Jay. And? I don’t care who it is. As a Black man, I want us all to prosper. But if I see one our actions as being detrimental to us a whole then that will also be addressed. Gotta take the good with the bad.
