    yeah the shit happens in Jersey too, just not as much or at such a high level, one of my best friends was the state’s all time leading rusher at one point, he got a scholarship to one of the most expensive and ” respected ” private catcholic schools in NJ and he did whatever he wanted whenever he wanted and they let him and gave him good grades, same shit happened for him when he went to college, but after his final season of eligibility was done he got in a fight cause some punk white kid was at a party and called him a nigga and swung a chair at him my boy pushed him he fell and cracked his head on a rock, you would think maybe the school who greatly benefited from having him for 4 years might have his back but nope they immediately suspended him from school, thank god the Judge laughed it out of court and dismissed charges immediately but that was a wake up for the homie and he really didn’t even do shit wrong, if you want a more serious example (c) Maurice Clarett

    Word Ty, even the SoCal dudes stay relatively out of trouble. I know the heavy gang culture here also matures you in some ways, cuz either you in or you out. If you out, you stay out of trouble because its very likely you have been affected directly by gang culture. Something about the South Football players(not all just a select few) seem like they watch too many rap videos or some shit. The Culture down there is incredible, they should make a documentary about that shit

    I think it has to do with how much football players get put on a pedestal down south. Im not sure how it is out west or up top, but down south college and high school football is like the nfl in many places, its a HUGE culture too itself. Them dudes are super stars from high school, leaving no room for maturity in a lot of cases. And they ARE super stars (c) SEC is the illest college football division, and the state of florida breeds football players from the embryonic stages.

    Though I have a friend that played southern divison I football that went to duke med school and another who is an engineer, so its not everybody.
