he’s a good lyricist but this shit is too melodramatic. These kinda songs demand a high level of authenticity or it just comes off as preachy… i don’t think they quite executed in what they were going for, and the video just makes it extra cheesy…slug is better when he’s going raw on the mic
Slug is dope as hell regardless. You guys check out the Sad Clown Bad Dub series Atmosphere put out every season over the last year? Amazing music. Can’t wait for this album to drop. And I completely agree with “Da”. Hate on this shit and keep listening to your dumb fuckin’ Soulja Boy or some retarded shit like that. Fuckin erbs.

Eskay, I noticed a trend on your blog. The posts with little to no comments usually have something substantial, different, and maybe even important. And therefore they’re largely ignored.
After all, isn’t there more to hip-hop than what’s being presented by major media outlets (including many popular blogs and hip-hop sites)? Maybe there may be an effort to reach out to the material coming out of Japan and Brazil, who knows.
i’m not even lying when i say that eskay posting our last two videos is kind of a big deal to me. i’ve been checking this site for a long time. and i have always enjoyed it. so thanks man.

…a bit more interesting? The video reflects everything he’s saying in the song, and I agree with Da and Vee. The scene in brazil is pretty dope but sadly that stuff wont be here anytime soon, too many people are worried about dehaven and other insignificant hood bullshit
