Diddy isn’t involved in this movie.
Derek Luke, Angela Bassett and Anthony Mackie also have been cast in the movie, the art-house studio said. Directed by George Tillman Jr. (”Soul Food”), it goes into production this month and is set for release in January.
Luke (”Catch a Fire”) will play Biggie record producer Sean “Diddy” Combs, who off-screen is an executive producer on the film. Mackie (”Brother to Brother”) will play rival rapper Tupac Shakur, while Bassett (”Akeelah and the Bee”) will play Biggie’s mother Voletta Wallace.

@ ODEMIC … Diddy has nothing to do with the movie. As far as I kno, he’s not making an appearance in the movie. He isn’t involved in the movie from an executive side either. Voletta Wallace is behind this movie.

i was at a showcase for Violator, first off, they said, the crowd pics the winner…im the only spanish motherfucker preforming, and all 40 spanish people in the building were with me,so i kill it, do my thing….now we alll the way in brooklyn, not only are we repping Queens hard with chants of ‘’QU'’ AND ‘’3-5′’(MY BLOCK), but were Latino, and im nice feel me? so they calling for all the artists to come on stage so they can pick a winner, now i had motherfuckers in the crowd wilding the fuck out for me, why the host then says while telling the crowd to calm down ‘’there are also ‘’ speical judges'’ and them niggas chose the other dude, now im not a hater, but the dudes that ended up winning came with the host, so i guess i lost befor i even performed……now…..this is a prime example of some hiphop bullshit, now the nigga that invited me to come out and preform was a co host, and he looked shook on stage, he know i won, he came outside to say sorry, but i ended up getting at him tellling him this the last time i fuck with his shows, that he looked scary on stage ect…

nah, its def not a money issue, we go out every weekend anyway, it was more like instead of keeping it hiphop, and keeping it true…like it might sound corny, but EVERYBODY was BLACK, i mean from the DJ to the host to the co host to the bartenders and every artists perfroming, me and my people were the only Latinos in the building…We were the loudest, we played the bar the whole night, and we came with the most females, and like i said we from QU, im not saying they was racist but, i could see them hating on some spanish niggas that night word up….
