Remy Ma Found Guilty on 4 Charges
The jury in Remy Ma’s assault trial has handed down their verdict and she has been found guilty of 4 charges including first-degree assault, attempted coercion, possession of a deadly weapon, and felony assault.
According to TMZ:
Remy was not found guilty of gang assault and witness tampering, among the nine total charges she faced. We’re told the victim’s friends and family taunted Remy when the verdicts were read.
She’s looking at a cool 25 years up north. Somebody owes me $20.

The incident began in the parking lot of the Greenwood Cemetery at about 6:45 p.m. at 4300 Imperial Ave., according to Capt. Boyd Long of the San Diego Police Department. Investigators first believed that two cars collided, provoking a confrontation between four men in a white Lincoln Continental and two men in a Honda Civic. But Thursday, San Diego police Sgt. Jim Arthur said the two groups appear to have been involved in a drug deal. Shooting broke out between the two groups, and as the cars left the cemetery, the shooting continued, Long said.
Witnesses told police that the driver of the Honda began ramming his car into the Lincoln. As the vehicles drove down Imperial Avenue, they continued colliding with each other and exchanging gunshots, Long said. Both cars entered southbound Interstate 805, chasing one another, and ended up colliding on the 805 near E Street. One of the cars ended up in a ditch, Long said.
Police said the four men ran from the Lincoln about 300 yards toward the Plaza Bonita Mall, located at 3030 Plaza Bonita Road. Police caught and arrested one man running on the freeway. The other three men ran into the mall.
The mall was placed on lockdown, with no one being allowed inside or out. Police escorted all shoppers and store employees out of the mall. Traffic was diverted around the mall during the investigation.
Police arrested three men in the mall, which was reopened at about 11:30 p.m. All four suspects in custody are from Riverside County, Arthur said.
Long said the two men in the Honda Civic also fled on foot and have not been located.

I got a licensed one I keep at the crib, but the days of me rocking the gun everywhere are long gone, but it helps that I live out in the suburbs now, the chances of me needing a gun are slim to none out here ( and for the record I think thats a damn good thing ) if someone runs up in my crib they are getting got but again thats self defense in my home so I’m good.

WASHINGTON, DC (WUSA) — Dick Heller says his reasons for challenging the District’s handgun ban in February of 2003 haven’t changed. “The second amendment grants us the right to bear arms, at least in our homes, to protect our lives and property. That’s the crux of the issue,” Heller says. But with 130 homicides by handgun in DC this year, Mayor Adrian Fenty says the ban could be a lifesaver.”We believe state legislatures have the right to decide if individuals have the right to bear arms, and our legislature, the City Council decided 30 years ago that handguns should be banned in the District of Columbia,” the Mayor says.
Attorney General Linda Singer says her office will take aim at the second amendment to try and overturn the Circuit Court decision to throw out DC’s handgun ban. “In our view, the second amendment is there to prevent the federal government from disarming state militias, not to prevent states and localities from protecting themselves from the misuse of firearms,” Singer says. Of 2,115 guns confiscated in the District this year, 1,434 were handguns. The way the Supreme Court rules on this is a matter of life and death,” says Deputy Police Chief Alfred Durham. “Our gun recovery unit will continue our efforts to recover these weapons.”
Heller is not alone in his opposition to the ban. “I look foward to the day I can load the handgun I have in my house and not risk prosecution,” a woman who joined him at a press conference said. DC will file its brief in the case in January and make arguments before the Supreme Court in March.

yeah i was talkin to a liquor store owner in my hometown saturday, he’s arab and said that’s how they roll… when the liquor store costed them $40k to get it going, they got 20 or so people to anti up $2k each and they help the next person in line get one goin

I’m not going to jail, never have never will. and believe me, i have kids so it’s way more important that I maintain my freedom than alot of ya’ll. but I’m also not letting somebody get me for 3G’s, that shit don’t fly where I come from.

On the gun front; I live in London, and you get caught with a gun here, where nobody is allowed guns legally, and it’s curtains.
We’ve got a growing problem with firearms, and just this week some Chief Inspector was calling for a minimum 15 year sentence for just being caught holding heat.
So I suppose it’s just as well that I’m a Super-nigga-type dude…

^ don’t get me started on fam structure. look, the situation i presented is a hypothetical, nothing more or less. i’ll never be homeless for the reasons fuxo presented as well, but ive got a few friends that werent as fortunate and did shit they felt like they had to do to eat, and some of it involved guns. who am i to judge them right or wrong, but i sympathize with the robbed and the robber.

i don’t think he was referring to family, it’s kinda like a mutual fund… everybody chip in a little money, and it’s a risk on your $2k, but once the store gets up and running, you get $3 or $4k back, for example…
