Not content to just play the album, Kanye commissioned a bunch of videos to accompany the music and provide the crowd with some visual stimulation. I’ve never seen anything from the Hundreds inspired by Japanese style. skater shit yeah, but to me their shit is old school West Coast/Sunset strip/Vato shit. with those hats you posted, their just paying homage to an iconic early 90′s style which is something every streetwear brand is doing now, C&C included. artists make their real money touring. album sales are a small fraction. Q-Tip said in an interview that he was still sleeping on his moms couch when their first 1 or 2 albums were out.
that being said, joe is on an indie label, and given the way cd sales are overall, he’s probably bringin home a decent check compared to other first week sales. (no dickriding, i still think joe has fallen a long way)

I thought he was decent when he first came out then he kept tryin’ to do commercial records. We got about 5 rappers from here who all have major deals. You update the blog every 15 minutes, or in might case every quarter, with ish about the game. It isn’t easy and it isn’t fun lol especially because you have to keep pace with game time versus real time and changes of pace. You could be typing about one thing, but something better happens.
I think A.I. needed to know that he was still a part of our history, especially with how shit ended. Many Sixers fans were actually happy to see A.I. go, not for the fact that he was unwanted but because the Sixers organization didn’t deserve to have a player like A.I. on their roster and he needed to win a title. I think if Billy King was fired a year earlier, he would still be a Sixer. The players that King brought in to support A.I. were past their prime. Ed Snider’s been lucky that King’s trade picks and Andre Miller have worked out. Carney and Young were steals for us.

True, this whole babymama epidemic has been justified, and it’s quite sickening. I hear this you need to have a kid by a certain age talk from a lot of young uneducated folks. It’s sad that this is what the black community has become. And we wonder why our kids are last on tests and school. You should get married before you start having children anyway, and if you are past a certain age and are neither married nor have children, then thats you problem. It’s saddening when it’s the trendy thing to do to have children when you’re 17 and 18. I’m not knocking anyone for having a child when their young, but if you aren’t responsible, then you shouldn’t have children. Just because a man doesnt have children by a certain age, does not make him out to be some sort of alien. In reality it makes him smart. What’s the point of having a baby mama just to have one. Having a kid does not turn you into a man. You first have to be a man and take care of responsibilities. Children are not trendy and accessories. It doesn’t take a child, to become wise.

Sadly, It has become the norm in ways. Look at how it is mocked yet celebrated.
