Yo I check this site like 10x a day and never really felt compelled to write somethin’ until I heard Mos spit a new, real good verse. I was buggin out. I’ve been fiendin’, and pretty much gave up hope, for Mos Def to get back to that Black On Both Sides type spittin’. Maybe I’m gettin too amped off just one verse, but fuck it. I really hope Mos makes a whole album where he raps like how he did on this new roots song u posted.
P.S….I have a radio show here at Temple University in Philly. It’s called the Hip-Hop Spot (weds. 4 - 6pm on temple.edu/whip) on WHIP. I do interviews with artist all the time like Styles P, Beanie Sigel, Freeway, DJ Drama and others. I am trying to diversify the people I interview. With that said, I’d love to do an interview with who every runs this site. I hope to do interviews with people like whoever runs this site, lowkey and the people who run 2dopeboyz. If you could get back to me about either stoppin through at temple if your every in philly or doin a phone interview durin my show I’d greatly appreciate it. Email me at floetic@temple.edu, or on my myspace, or on facebook (Uche Anidi)…I’d appreciate if u sent me a message on facebook tellin me who u are so I can friend u…aight, thanx for readin all this….ONE

FUCKING FIRE! This reminds me of circa 90-95… I love it man..
March 14th, 2008 at 8:51 pm
That song was fly! Roots is cool, and styles is nice too!
Album cover is fly too!!
M&M
Jacked his flow from Bugs Bunny & Mickey Mouse.
To me, for the most part, Eminem doesn’t sound like Masta Ace.
Em’s style does sound like Treach’s…never thought of that…
I’ve never really heard Royce. Only on the beef dvd, and it was nice. Honeslty I really don’t know stuff about Michigan rappers.

Sayin ‘no homo’ makes you a homo. If you were straight man, you wouldn’t even have to think about it. So quit that shit.
March 15th, 2008 at 1:11 am
anyone know the song sampled ??? it’s on the tip of my tongue.. can’t think of it.
March 15th, 2008 at 2:41 am
C RANX you obviously are a newbie to hip hop nothing wrong w/ that.. If you were a bboy like me you would know eminem originally collabed with rawkus who at the time had a cat around named masta ace ol skool.. they did one track together on infinite he did that track as an ode to one of his fav artists hence the reason peeps say he sounds like “the who influenced his style” later Royce came along and he kinda mimmicked his spit and vis versa.. Personally Royce sounds more himself now and lyrically hes a wizard..
March 15th, 2008 at 11:53 am
Yo this song is crazy!!!! I love the beat i fucks with the sample this shit is hard. Good Song.
