The artist is usually to blame. No one forces them to rhyme over weak shit.

If you find that Fat Joe is always rhymin over fire beats, it’s cuz he picks fire beats to rhyme over, while artists like Joe Budden don’t even bother to think of hollerin at Premier for a beat, let alone pickin hot beats to rhyme over.

Its not that rappers are stuck with trash beats.. but they PICK those wack beats. I know not everybody can afford a superstar producer but theres good unknown producers out there… like me.
