Recognition by the masses. When you get one of those folks start paying attention. Red already knows that the average negroe into rap music knows he’s dope and what has that got him. Half these ninjas today aren’t even spending money for music any more, so what value does that have.
A Grammy can open up doors for more exposure and opportunity for an artist. Street cred is cool, but the awards are where the real money is at. Red shouldn’t have to change his music to get an award either. 3’6 Mafia didn’t change and they got one.
We all know the the Grams are jaded, but to tell yourself that I never want a Grammy as an artist because of that is silly.

I think its a good album, most of the album is really good, but I think i prefer her stuff thats slightly more sturctured like the 1st album. I appreciate the vibing thing, and the beats are nice, but she walks a very fine line btw bs lyrics vs cool vibing lyrics. I cant help but feel like she is trying to con me when I hear some of her lyrics. Its still a good album though, and Ill be buying it today or tommorow.

I listen to Face’s entire catalog weekly, it still holds up even over 20 years…Mr. Scarface is Back, The World is Yours, The Diary and The Fix are damn near perfect…MADE and Untouchable are great as well, but not perfect like the other 4. Face is undeniably the most consistent of all time.
