I dont think he meant to have any merit to it, other than the fact to shed light on the Barclay ownership, and their shady past..Cases like this happen all the time and Congressional bills like this happen all the time, where outlandish bills are wrote up, with the intent of knowing it wont get passed, but to bring an awareness to the situation.
Kool Herc, knew it would receive attention, so this is his way of shedding a light on an issue that he feels strongly about.

Nah, I doubt it has any legs…other than to bring awareness….The guy who is filing a lawsuit is an activist, so his main goal, is for us to be aware in how we form partnerships or businesses with others…..Just about all these banks, and many Fortune 500 companies have some link to a slave trade.
Think about it…..Popeye’s- Who do you think was cooking up the chicken and buscuits, before someone made an official recipe to it…

so I just got finished rollin dice late night, caked a little around 250-300 bucks. There happened to be a bar right where we playing dice at. I cross the street drunk to stash some money in my car thats parked. I begin to cross the street back to where niggas is rollin dice. So I noticed niggas with that arms up in the air. Being drunk thought nothing of it. I walked right up on this cat holding a shotty. By this time it was evident what was going on. I tried to k.i.m and walk into the titi bar, dude was like nah fam I’ll put one in your back. So I put my hands up in the air. He said put your fucking arms down. I’ve never felt more like a bitch than that. These niggas robbed about 7 cats and forced us to jumb down a lil water way about 10 ft drop. LOL I began laughing as soon as my feet hit the ground cause the dude that jumped ahead of me did a tuck and roll.

i have no idea how they would do it. at one point i thought it should be in the form of funding social programs that benefit the black community but the way folks rob the government’s social initiatives (talkin bout white collar type crime rather than welfare fraud) then i’m not even sure how beneficial that would be. i don’t think the money should be distributed individually though. im skeptical that reparations would really ever happen anyway. also i’m not the most knowledgeable person on this subject…i only know the basics.
