Most of our preachers and pastors out here today did some “Backsliding” in their day and because of that they are able to give a good sermon…they draw from experience and can give real testimonials. My issue with Pastor Bethea is that he stopped in the middle of his calling and returned to Murder Mase with all of the cursing and video hoes all around him. Good for him if he realized that he couldn’t really go back to that lifestyle and returned to his congregation, but my question is how many times is he gonna be allowed to do that and we can just say he’s human…he makes mistakes…we fall down, but we get up and drop $20 in his collection plate? SMH

    ^^^True to a certain extent..all preachers are are mostly glorified book readers..If he/she is reading from a scripture and she says “The Lord says so n so” then thats acceptable cause she merely quoting scriptures..but if he/she says ” Theres some hoes in the congregation today” then that could be considered out of bounds and most people in the congregation hate that cause they know they just came from the club drinkin and fornicating to Rick Ross songs. Thats when people in the congregation start to say ” oh but she got 3 kids out of wedlock” and start to look for ways to assasinate the character of the messenger….it’s human nature.
