^Church is an ego booster for a lot of people…being a pastor or holding a position in the church gives otherwise nobodies an identity. All of a sudden they are holier than thou and have this huge persona. They feel like they are part of this inner circle that you aren’t in. People, especially the black community, can take church and religion too far. I believe it is a personal thing. I worship my God the way I want to and I am good no matter what anyone says.

His preaching reinforces what we should already know about the word. I judge Mase not by my word, but by the word of God. His running to church when its convient for him, is very suspect. Did he ever ask God for forgiveness?
Sure we all sin, but just because he can invoke a good message, surely doesn’t mean I need to Listen to him, when his actions and behaviors say different. Any Crackhead or Drug addict can preach the word. It seems to me like you want to be entertained and not informed. One should not listen to a preacher just to get a good word, The knowledge and wisdom from studying the word of God, should already be within. It’s a Social act of reinforcement to fellowship with others. I would rather hear a not so good speaker, who is just and lives a faithful life according to the word of God, than a “Good speaker”, who has superfluous ways, and is in an entrapment of sin.

who said anything about taking over distribution….they wanted to start their own company…. not take over the whole industry. who said anything about guns. they were trying to pool their money together and make it a joint venture. and as far as whose product were they distributing? the same way that mixtapes are independenlty distributed so can a major artists album which makes it more lucrative to the other companies (best buy, circuit city walmart and what not) because they dont have to give back as much per unit sold like they would a universal or sony music group. as long as the artists fulfilled their contractual agreements with majors this could have worked.
