Common Says New Album in November
Common tells MTV that he’s going to drop his next album, The Believer, in November. He also insists that the project with Q-Tip is actually going to happen.
“Q-Tip and I been planning the Standard album,” he said, referring to the duo the pair have formed. “We been conceptualizing, but we just gotta continue to work on it. We will. I look at it like two jazz musicians getting together, the way Charlie Parker and cats would get together and do work. I feel a lot more free with my music now that I’m doing films and stuff, because I don’t put as much pressure on the music. It ain’t my only source of income and way to make a living.”
I wonder if all of artistic freedom he’s feeling is going to mean another Electric Circus for us. Not that it was a bad album…

How bout the other day I’m flickin through channels, start watchin this show where they got the “boot” on dudes car and threatening to tow..unless he pay before the tow truck get there. I’m like yo that kinda look like Philly. Tow truck pull up, and it say PPA on the side! I was like aw man they wrong. But it gets worse… i’m watchin A & E again last night (Dont sleep on First 48) and the show come on again.. apparently its called Parking Wars (or some shit). How bout the WHOLE show revolves around the Philly parkin authority. Damn, they really are notorious (no big). And why was Reed Dollaz on there? lol his promo truck got taken.
