Okay, I'm just in a foul mood obviously... I like the his expression, but why in the hell did this cat come home from the road and go smoke, drink, and frolick with a bunch of hard legs shooting dice on the corner. Hip hop has got to grow up. I'm tired of this s**t. It's not cool and ain't fun... In the words of nahright: "Ol Bum ass N***a"

>> naw real talk my brain is always moving there was probably like 12 more points I wanted to make but forgot about in the process of typing or just got distracted by a new thought, it does get to be a bit ridiculous, like check my latest novel by clicking my name, I know you won;t care much to read it cause it’s about sports ( nba trades ) but you can see I clearly went in, and I tried not to type nearly that much, see even know I’m rambling waaaaay too much…. I think I have a problem…….

^ you fucking did it again

Yeah...I've seen countless magazines and websites absolutely diss and shit on Beats, Rhymes & Life, The Love Movement and Q-Tip's Amplified.

Now it's "Dilla is so amazing, everything in his catalogue are classics"

# nation Says:

>> Dilla was a Faceless producer anyways…

word you seen that interview where he was so fucking downtoearth and thorough with that Scandinavian kid asking him mad questions about what happened with the Q-Tip/lawsuit fiasco

^^^^

Yeah. Dude even asked Dilla what he thought about Hi-Tek biting his style. lol.

I dont think Dilla REALLY wanted to be famous. Just Blaze said he missed the Black Album because he was dedicated on working with an unknown local artist (I think it was Guilty). Thats crazy.

Plus if people take my beat & make a hit record for Tupac, IM COMPLAINING. Someone would know about it, trust me. HE was just SUPER humble.

How you not gonna take no producer credit on Voodoo because YOU DIDNT PLAY ANY INSTRUMENTS??!?!?! You serious?

…… hey man better late than never, if you knew all about Dilla before he died but wasn’t impressed and now you act impressed than you lost
___________________________________________________________

This is what I was referring to...don't get me wrong, I hope that Dilla's legend continues to grow as time goes on and the next few generations of hip-hop fans are checking for him the way Reggae heads search for older roots music.

I knew a dude who told me that Dilla was soft...all the music and artists that he produced for were "soft" around the time when Jaylib came out.

Then Dilla passes and he gets on his hypebeast type of shit...wants to cop a "Dilla Changed My Life" shirt 'cause it's what became cool...but there's always gonna be people like that I guess.

I just hate when people are followers. Like when they wait for enough people to co-sign an artist before they can admit they feel the music. We should be embracing talented artists while they're here. I've just noticed a lot of awareness towards Dilla lately, not on the 'net but at clubs and shows where they have Dilla nights...and not all of the love is sincere. Most of it is, but a lot of followers want to fit into that type of crowd. I'm having trouble putting it into words but I definitely co-sign everything you said though biggums
