I laughed in his face and made a few smart ass comments to him in a professional manner so he couldn’t get too mad at my reply, but I let him know you can’t just talk to me any way.

it was after like my 3rd funeral I went to last year where i was listening to my boy’s dad say how he decided he wanted to go a different path instead of working in an office doing the same thing every day for the rest of his life that made me say I’ve had enough, I don’t care if I make a little less money I’d rather enjoy myself everyday and actually look forward to waking up and going about my day, than bust my ass to make money and be miserable and end up like my pops, I mean my pops is happy and all but besides work he doesn’t know what to do with himself, he tried to retire and the highlight of his day was pacing back and forth waiting for the mail to come, his retirement lasted about 2 months and now he is back consulting, I don’t want to be like that I wanna enjoy life, not just be a worker bee

…..naw it’s exclusive to direct TV…..you can get the NFL network on cable channels but the only way to be able to watch every game at the same time on sundays is with direct TV, and you got to set up multiple tv’s to really enjoy it

I just thought I’d move on and forgive him, it’s cool. Sometimes I wanna bring old stuff up, but I just keep it moving. We talk like once a week. My brother still holds the grudge, I’m trying to get him off it like I did a month ago. It’s tough though. Afterwards I felt a whole lot better.
I keep reminding myself, that he knows the fucked up shit he did/said in the past. It don’t change the fact that he’s my dad, fuck it. I know how he is now, so little he does/says from this point forward will surprise or catch me off guard.
