Reasonable Doubt is a fantastic album that only became the “masterpiece” it is now considered when Hov became a rap deity.

Hard Knock life was the purest and most adulterated version of the Jay we know today. A week Ago? Coming of Age pt. 2? RESOVOIR DOGS? Because of its success (and Can I get a) this was unfairly tagged as Jay’s commercial joint. Naw. If I should Die? Let’s Ride (hiliariously scathing Mase diss, BEST subliminal diss in hiphop after Long Kiss). Hip-hop’s true thriller. Every song knocked, and Jay spit over everyone like it was his first album, which when compared sonically to RD and Vol.1 it really was.

And yes, Cormega is THAT nigga.

Yeah thats what I’m sayin fam, I aint got time/money to be loungin in the studio like a Platnium artist. I usually write my shit before I get there so I can just hop in the booth & record away…I only really chill & write IN the studio when I’m collaborating.

And the next mixtape? Soon man, soon. I dont wanna put my mouth on it because it aint set in stone yet [II], but soon.

And I aint watching Esk/Nation giving me a post. When/If I make suttin they like, I’m sure they will. I’ll focus on that shit when my projects are finished. Plus Eskay dont listen to foriegners lol.

I dont think Jay can EVER top Reasonable Doubt. Vol 2 was a nice LP though. Very underrated.

A good song doesnt equal a HIT song. They’re two different worlds.

Styles is one of the best song writers in hip-hop. Both his (proper) albums showcase this…So do his mixtapes.

SP is the people’s champ. & he IS the hardest out, its not like he’s lying… Him saying it just makes it more entertaining.
