   That Wiz Khalifa video a few posts back was a really bad look for him…

   That shit was dripping with corniness…

   I’m so over hip-hop videos…I especially hate the blatant cameos, or should I say non-cameos

   Like when you have a rapper you could give two fucks about, and then they do the two seconds pauses on their boys who nobody knows either…

   why do cats even put money in videos anymore? everybody watches them for two weeks on a 2″x3″ screen on their computers anyways, and then to have the same corny video format that’s been played out for years boggles my mind

   Videos should still be produced, don’t get me wrong…but why not go with a gritty street video…or come with some sort of concept, you’re telling me you can’t make a dope video on a budget?

   I appreciate the fact that some artists enjoy paying homage to the 1990s, but it’s a shame that no one can seem to move the art form forward. If an artist can find a way to put a new spin on an old 90s feel then I can dig it, but don’t try to duplicate the Tribe or Main Source sound. If I want to hear that I can just dig into the archives to hear the original classics.

   There are too many artists and not enough talent…
