Apart from the early days for 50 (How To Rob-era up to Heat/Back Down), I’ve not been a fan of G-Unit at all. They were okay for a while, but it all became too commercial and formulaic.
That said… in a world where Lil’ Wayne and Soulja Boy are the ‘relevant’ artists, I long for the days when 50 and G-Unit were occupying that space, on a “lesser of two evils” type of thing.
