I HAVE EVERY issue of the Source from 1989(news letter) unitl 2004. I SAW how his lack of journalistic integrity destroyed the brand. Sneaking stories in storie about his group, Giving Lil Kim 5(?) mics and selling mics. No doubt, the mic rating set an industy standard for more than a decade but he fouled the kiddy pool because of his ego. PLUS, he expanded too rapidly. I remember Dr, Funkenklien, Starr and Buckwild, Reginald dennis and the original Mind squad. The Source broke my heart with that bullshit. For about 6-8 months straight he was putting his groups/and/or self on the “Fat Tape” or “heavy Rotation” list. And that shit was GARBAGE. I ain’t hatin’ on Benzino, I also ain’t buyin’ his new magazine. And he’s cheeks as an M.C.
