I used to help out my friend with his street team a couple years back, in exchange for using his connects to shop beats and attending various events. Well he invited me to Too Short’s Meet N Greet and I brought my girl with me. We got there a little early so when Short showed up, we were the first to meet him. We shook hands, snapped pics, etc. Then me and my girl head to the bar for drinks (at this point people are starting to come in). We turn around and this nigga Short snuck up behind us on some ninja shit! Tryna start conversation again like we ain’t just meet the nigga. He didn’t even order a drink…just stood there lookin’ all depressed. He did end up giving me his contact info so I could send him some material, but he never responded so I figured it was typical industry shit….that shit was hilarity though….

And the MC’s you mentioned aren’t the only popular mofos who have put Wayne in their top 5. But given the benefit of the doubt, on a MAINSTREAM level, who else they gonna choose from? At least 4 of those artists did a song with him because he’s the hot artist for the time being. A “Madtv” comic didn’t leave them laughing at a Manhattan club Saturday.
Comedian Aries Spears was arrested after he allegedly fondled a woman following his set at Comix Comedy Club about 1 a.m., cops said.
Spears, 32, a fixture on the Fox sketch comedy program for eight seasons, was charged with forcible touching after the incident in the Meatpacking District nightspot.
The comic - known for his impressions of James Brown, Eddie Murphy and Jay-Z - was arraigned and released on his own recognizance.
Spears headlined two shows at the club Friday, one at 8:30 p.m. and another at 10:45 p.m.
He had been scheduled to perform Saturday as well, with ticket prices ranging from $25 to $30, but a spokeswoman for the club said other acts will be showcased instead.

Word…Shai LaBeuff (sp) solidified his next 384902834 movie roles thanks to his performance in “Transformers”…I was never a big Speed Racer fan, but I can see it being a good movie…that “Wanted” movie looks like CRACK though, compared to “Jumper”…smh @ Sam Jackson fuckin’ up movies with his terrible acting…..
