Fatal shooting leads to 110-year sentence

An Anderson man convicted of fatally shooting a teenager was sentenced to 110 years in prison Monday.
Jerell Owens, 22, was found guilty of murder and robbery by a Madison Superior Court 3 jury last month.
He had been accused of killing Damien Hopkins, 18, after both men had participated in a dice game at a southside apartment complex last Feb. 4.
After shooting the teen twice in the head, Owens removed cash from his victim’s pants, authorities said. Two other men face assisting-a-criminal charges over allegations they helped Owens move Hopkins’ body and flee from the shooting scene.
if you made a list including all the b-sides, features, unreleased/lost tracks, nas would have a longer list of dope songs.

LL can’t be a GOAT.. he’s had a great career and viable longevity.. but he’s never really been lyrical enough (maybe early early L when there weren’t as many lyrically complex type dudes) to stand up with the lyrical heavyweights. He’s just been a great rapper in the industry for his ability to make hits over 3 different decades.
Jay vs. Nas… hmmm… i love jay, but he’s not as thoughtful or eloquent as my favorite emcees. He’s good at his hustle-talk, but he’s not inspirational.. more or less he’s really made his career talking about himself or concepts where he’s cemented in the focus.
So i say nas is the better emcee.. while jay may be the better rapper.
and i say ‘Pac is better than both because catalogue wise he’s been able to do what both has done…. make consistent rap hits while still being poetic/eloquent (although not as complex lyrically…)

LL can’t be a GOAT.. he’s had a great career and viable longevity.. but he’s never really been lyrical enough (maybe early early L when there weren’t as many lyrically complex type dudes) to stand up with the lyrical heavyweights. He’s just been a great rapper in the industry for his ability to make hits over 3 different decades.
Jay vs. Nas… hmmm… i love jay, but he’s not as thoughtful or eloquent as my favorite emcees. He’s good at his hustle-talk, but he’s not inspirational.. more or less he’s really made his career talking about himself or concepts where he’s cemented in the focus.
